Rumors and Speculation - Words usually placed together in reference to a potential war, treaty signing or possibly the decision of a jury in a murder case. 2. Current State - Usually reserved for a trapped child in an abandonedwell, the US economy such as "We'll be back with Colin Powell and his views of the current state of our economy," or the condition of someone's marriage after 35 years of being together. 3. Swirling - Mostly used to describe the 120 mph winds whipping across the mid-west destroying everything in its path, or that sensation you get in your head after drinking a ice drink to quickly, or quite possibly allegations of the departure of a US senator or school principal. What I am gently trying to bring to light (another good phrase by the way) is that our choice of words and the energy we place on events and in this case, two people, are grossly out of proportion to those events and people we should be concentrating our time on. These two insignificant "actors" and "entertainers" have more attention placed upon them than the sluggish U.S. educational system. They are self-absorbed children who find the greatest pleaure in life by buying each other $285,000 automobiles, cause that's practical. The Ben and Jen craze that has swept across this sad land is no more than a simple reality TV production. And instead of having it done for him, Ben has voted himself off the land of Jen. Hmm, smartest thing he has ever done.. |
