The launch of NoMoreAffleck.com kicked off exactly as we hoped! We have been receiving e-mails not only to commend our hard work, but also to offer more names to the list. A number of those names have been added and there are more to come I’m sure.

Now, some people might think we hate these celebrities, that cannot be farther from the truth. We are not about hatred here in any shape or form. The celebrities listed on our site are placed here just as the opening text reads on the home page: “Either they served their purpose, or never had one.”

There has been a quick decline in the quality of celebrities in the past 10 years or so. Gone are the days of the young Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Sidney Poitier, Jack Nicolson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Arthur Ash, Sean Connery and so forth. Today we are surrounded by thugs, gangster wanna-bes, young, spoiled, over-paid, over-dressed, under educated, over exposed cry babies. Today they go from Eighth grade to the NBA, from a third rate actor to a major star, from weatherman to reporter. There are no levels anymore, no ranks to ascend, just a pretty face, out-dated jokes and a half-baked scripts. All of this bubbles to the top and what transpires is a loss of character to our movies, a loss of worth to our music and a loss of any sort of quality to the people whom we like to call – Celebrities.
