Cirque Du Soleil Amongst the myriad of shows Los Vegas has to offer, one stands out above the rest as a beacon which you just cannot ignore. The long running "O" by Cirque Du Soleil has gained world-wide acclaim as a must see show if you ever land in Las Vegas (and find yourself with an extra $150-$300 laying around). I was fortunate enough to see "O" recently and words fail me. Between the sets, special effects and aerial gymnastics, sometimes what was happening in the back of the stage was just as wondrous with what transpired at center stage. "O" joined both traditional gymnastics with diving which for most of the show took place 20-50 feet above 1.5 million gallons of water set into the stage. Utilizing hydraulics, the stage morphed between water, to a solid structure, back to water without missing a beat. Even if you are not a fan of gymnastics or high-diving, see this show if your wallet can bear it. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. |
